Ford is giving us an exclusive peek at a few of the changes that will be made to its sports car, the fabled Mustang.
Slightly lowered for more dynamic handling, the new 2018 Ford Mustang exhibits a redesigned body that’s sleeker and more streamlined than its predecessor. There are three new exterior colors, in addition to a wide selection of alloy rims.
The new 2018 Mustang will come with a choice of two different powertrains: a 4-cylinder 2.3 L EcoBoost or the ever-popular 5.0 L V8. According to Ford, the V8 has been completely reworked, so it will be up to Mustang fans to confirm its unrivaled power and driving pleasure. An automatic 10-speed transmission will be available and, for diehard adrenaline junkies, the usual manual version will also be available.
You’ll have to wait a few more months for the sublime 2018 Mustang to make its appearance at your dealership. Apart from the elegant, fully-customizable 12-inch touchscreen and an optional heated steering wheel, Ford is leaving the rest of the new features to our imagination until fall.
