The all-new 2019 Ford Transit Connect Cargo Van will soon be available at Solution Ford in Châteauguay! With its agile handling and practical passenger compartment, the Transit Connect blurs the boundaries between cargo van and passenger vehicle. Elegant and efficient, it definitely isn’t afraid show its colors as a van, whether in the five-passenger short wheelbase model or the long wheelbase model, which seats six or seven. You can choose from among our XL, XLT and Titanium models and set a course for adventure!
Both inside and out, the Ford Transit Connect Cargo Van has been designed to simplify your life. Sporting the proprietary design of the new Ford vehicles and benefitting from a redesigned console, the Transit Connect features three rows of passenger seats, of which the two back rows can be folded down to facilitate loading. The functional, practical seats are even more comfortable than those of its predecessors, offering the perfect combination of utility and pleasure!
There are two available choices in powertrains: a 2.0 L I-4 engine or a 1.5 L I-4 EcoBlue diesel engine, each coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission. When you add the trailer tow package, you’ll be able to tow up to 2,000 pounds, in addition to the cargo volume inside the vehicle.
Several safety systems are optionally available in the new 2019 Transit Connect. Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection warns you if a frontal collision appears to be imminent and will even apply the brakes if necessary, while Adaptive Cruise Control, the Lane-Keeping System and Blind Spot Monitoring will allow you to ride in total confidence. As for Automatic Emergency Braking, it comes standard.
Do you plan on using the 2019 Ford Transit Cargo Van for work? You’ll no longer need to look for a Wi-Fi access point: it’s now built in to the vehicle and can connect up to 10 devices simultaneously—a first for Ford vehicles. You can also remain connected at all times with the SYNC® 3 infotainment system, which can be controlled from the console through an optional 6.5-inch “floating” screen.
