The 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty full-size pickup is one of the automaker’s flagship models. Improved in 2020, it is receiving another facelift just two years later to offer pickup fans one of the most up-to-date driving experiences they could hope for. As you may know, the Super Duty designation includes the F-250, F-350 and F-450 models. So all of these will be benefitting from improvements for the next model year.

The 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty: the figures don’t lie

The 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty is famous for taking on even the toughest jobs, like transporting materials, tackling rough terrain and accelerating without faltering, even when towing heavy loads. In 2021, it exhibited best-in-class power and torque (430 hp and 475 lbf·ft) with the 7.3 L V8 gasoline engine and best-in-class diesel power (475 hp) with the 6.7 L Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel engine. The next year’s model will most likely be no exception. Thanks to its increasingly powerful engines, the F-350 version of the 2022 Ford Super Duty will be able to tow up to 21,000 pounds, while the F-450 diesel version will have a towing capacity of 24,200 pounds, the best in its class for the year.

It will also be available with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, representing a considerable advantage for those who make and take numerous calls on the road.

Further improvements will be on the menu for 2022, including new colors for the body and interior, as well as a Lariat Sport Trim version, which will forego chrome trim in order to highlight the new body colors on the mirrors, rocker panels, etc. The 2022 Ford Super Duty will be here at the dealership sometime around the fall of 2021.
