The range of the 2023 Ford Lightning

The 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning has two electric motors powered by a 98 kWh battery, which offers an estimated range of 370 km, enough to spend the whole day on the road. The extended-range 131 kWh battery increases the estimated range to 480 kilometers in the XLT and Lariat models and 450 km in the Platinum model. To recharge it, it suffices to plug it in to the available 80-amp home recharge terminal or any of the 19,500 public recharge terminals in North America. Considering that there are more than 100,000 electric vehicles traversing our streets here in Quebec as of 2021, you won’t be alone in reducing our annual greenhouse gas emissions!

Payload and towing capacities worthy of Ford

Tested many, many times over under extreme conditions, the 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning will add plenty of excitement to your everyday life. With 563 horsepower and 775 pound-feet of torque, it can tow up to 10,000 pounds when properly equipped, in addition to offering a payload capacity of up to 2,000 pounds. Standard all-wheel drive lends it enviable off-road capabilities and enables it to overcome just about any unforeseen road conditions. The drive modes (Normal, Sport, Tow/Haul and Off-Road) adjust the operating parameters of the electric F-150 to ensure optimal handling, regardless of what your trip might hold in store for you.

Thanks to optional Ford Intelligent Backup Power, the 2023 Ford Lightning can provide electricity to your home in the event of a blackout. With the capacity to produce peak power of up to 9.6 kWh, your electric F-150 can function as a generator for up to 10 days if you carefully ration your residential electricity use.
