The 2025 Ford Explorer has just announced a captivating redesign, reinventing its design and enriching its cabin with innovative features. This mid-cycle makeover introduces refined exterior lines, with an enlarged grille and the EXPLORER name boldly imposed on the hood of the sportiest model, the ST. The redesigned headlights and new rims complete this visual transformation.
The Active, ST-Line, and Platinum models are equipped with a 2.3-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, while the powerful ST benefits from a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 generating 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. This latter is also available for the Platinum model, offering an option for increased performance.
The interior of the 2025 Ford Explorer also benefits from significant improvements. For the first time, the Ford Digital Experience technology merges the digital world of the users with that of the vehicle, thanks to a central 13.2-inch touchscreen integrating Google Maps and allowing the transfer of information to a second 12.3-inch screen behind the steering wheel.
