Like all of the vehicles in the series, the Ford Escape PHEV will undergo some significant changes for the 2023 model year. While the powertrain will likely remain the same, the esthetic and ergonomic changes will be more than sufficient to catch the eye of enthusiasts.

We shouldn’t see any modifications to the mechanics. The vehicle will continue to generate 221 horsepower, thanks to a high-performance combination of a 2.5 L four-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric motor powered by a 14.4 kWh battery. In addition to exhibiting the lowest fuel consumption rating in its class, the 2023 Ford Escape PHEV will offer a range of 60 kilometers in all-electric mode.

When necessary, you can recharge it by means of a 110-volt household outlet, or you can plug it in to a 240-volt Level 2 terminal to recharge it in a little less than five hours.

A revamped look

To commemorate its evolution, the 2023 Ford Escape PHEV will present a new modernized appearance. Better-defined headlights will frame a new redesigned grille, and the silhouette as a whole will be more dynamic.

However, the biggest modifications will be in the cabin.
