With the ruggedness of the Ranger and the sports car DNA of the Focus RS, the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor will be capable of tackling any road with remarkable ease. We’re eagerly awaiting its release, as the Ford Ranger will be treated to a redesign for the 2023 model. The Raptor version is already available elsewhere in Canada, but rumors are going around that we’ll finally get our turn to enjoy it once the redesign has been unveiled.
The Ranger’s natural habitat is undeniably off-road, thanks to its ability to surmount even the most difficult conditions: sand, mud, snow, etc. The Ford Ranger isn’t afraid to get wet and dirty when the time comes to have fun on the road. It will be even more exciting to take the wheel of the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor, as this line offers heightened performance, in addition to a cabin, components and a body that are ready, willing and able to face any contingency during escapades off the beaten path.
The architecture of the upcoming 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor will probably be based on the T6 model, which is also present in the Ford Bronco. The latter’s twin-turbo V6 engine, which delivers 310 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque, will most likely be under the hood of the next Ranger Raptor, as well. If we go by the European version, it will be equipped with the Terrain Management System, which offers six drive modes, a Hill Descent Control system to manage steep off-road slopes and numerous versatile features, including an Easy Lift liftgate, which facilitates loading and unloading the cargo area. Will we also benefit from all-wheel drive? Only time will tell!
