The Mustang Bullitt is back! To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1968 film Bullitt, starring Steve McQueen, Ford presents the new 2019 Mustang Bullitt. Equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine delivering 480 horsepower, this hot rod offers you breathtaking performance that will bring back memories of the classic sixties movie. The Highland Green exterior and unique grille design give it a look that’s original, but still typical of the Mustang you’ve come to know and love.
Created in the image of the 1968 Ford Mustang 390 GT driven by McQueen’s character, the new 2019 Mustang Bullitt has been designed to respond to the needs of the most adventurous of drivers. Its GT performance package includes Brembo 6-piston front brakes, a Torsen limited-slip differential, a large rear anti-roll bar, an oversized radiator to keep the engine cool, and an intake manifold borrowed from the Shelby GT350. It comes standard with a 6-speed manual transmission.
To remain true to the spirit of the film, the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt boasts a discreet exterior profile, devoid of any logo except in the rear, where a single Bullitt emblem adorns the middle of the trunk. A cue-ball gearshift, dark green accent stitching and a welcome message on the 12-inch digital dashboard further personify this unique Mustang. The 2019 Bullitt is also available with various chrome accents and a high-performance active valve exhaust system featuring a unique black NitroPlate finish.
